Dear Folks

Here I go again. Saturday morning I was thinking of going up to see Frank over the weekend when we were all called out and they started to read off 30 names, mine among them. They told us to turn in our passes and go down & draw our winter uniforms. And to be packed & ready to leave Monday morning at 4 AM for Savannah, Georgia. All schools are filled now for a while so we are going there on general duty.

Thanks for sending my clothes I got them Tuesday.

If I don’t learn anything in this army I will at least be able to tell about most of the country.

I will write a letter as soon as I get to Savannah and let you know more about the Suth yas. Suh.

Love
Charles R
